The logistics group DB Schenker has been utilising Carinthia's strategically optimal location for a long time, which is emphasised by its location at Klagenfurt Airport. w&p Zement GmbH is the regional manufacturer of cement, binding agents, aggregates and special building materials in southern Austria. The w&p Zement products are the basis for durable and sustainable structures such as bridges, tunnels, apartments, foundations and much more. The company employs a total of 200 people, making it a secure employer for the region.
